This vessel built in 1980 & was purchased second hand in Sydney in December 1996.  Since then the vessel has been raced and cruised in South Australian gulf waters, cruised on several inland waterways in Australia and undertook an extended 10 week cruise in 2003 from Brisbane to Darwin.

The vessel was last surveyed for insurance in 2001.  Maintenance and upgrades have been carried out on a continuing basis to ensure the vessel remains fit for service of the kinds described above.  The vessel is presently located on the owner’s hard stand at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron.

The inventory in broad terms comprises the following:-

• Hull & Deck:  fibreglass, anchor locker, fore deck hatch, pop top & sliding hatch, 2 cockpit lockers, transom cut-out for direct fixing of outboard.

• Foils: swing keel rope hauled with auto setting flapper board, dagger-rudder and spare original swing rudder, with rudder boxes, spare tiller.

• Sails:  2 mains, 5 headsails, 2 spinnakers, all with necessary running rigging

• Ground tackle & mooring: plough and admiralty anchors each with chain and warp, mooring lines and 5 fenders.

• Safety Equipment:  generally to AYF Cat. 6 and SA Gulf waters compliance (flares out of date).

• Radios: VHF and 27 MHz.

• Outboard:  8 hp Honda 4 stroke

• Cruising Items: cushions, 2 burner metho stove, Porta-Potti, cutlery, crockery, culinary items, ice box 40 L water tank, galley sink with fresh water & sea water pumps, cockpit spray dodgers, cockpit floor mat.

• Electrical: 2x 50 Ah batteries, 50W solar panel, voltmeter, ammeter, navigation & cabin lights.

• Tender: 2.0m inflatable Zodiac with 2 hp Suzuki outboard.

• Trailer:  galvanised, 14” light truck tyres on Holden wheels, electric winch, 4-wheel electric braking with breakaway system, load distribution bars, haul off winch, spars for erecting mast.

• Boat covers:  2 rudimentary boat covers for mast up or down situations.
